Description

The Malt Miller Brew Day in a box recipe kits have been developed to make brewing with the very best ingredients as easy as possible. Each kit contains all the ingredients required, crushed malt, hops, style specific yeast and priming sugar. Plus, kettle finings, yeast nutrient and where applicable vegan finings. Full instructions for brewing beer from grain as well as a recipe specific brew sheet.

This New Zealand Pilsner (NZ Pils) all-grain homebrew recipe kit, that is part of our Spring Seasonal Series, showcases the vibrant character of Nelson Sauvin and Motueka hops, delivering a crisp,
refreshing lager with a bold twist. Pale straw in colour with a bright white head, it bursts with aromas of white grape, lime, and
tropical fruit, backed by a hint of fresh citrus zest. A light malt backbone provides subtle biscuit notes, allowing the hops to shine with
their Sauvignon Blanc-like flavours and a touch of lemongrass. The finish is clean, crisp, and slightly dry, with a refreshing bitterness
that keeps you coming back for more.

Comments:

Wait until you beer/wort reaches a strong rolling boil before starting the boil timer. This will aid in driving off DMS from the wort. Failure to drive off DMS will result in a beer with a vegetal, cabbage or corn like profile.

We suggest that after you have packaged the beer it is stored cold for 4-8 week for the lagering process to take place. Your flavours will round out, the malty notes will come through whilst not overtaking the flavour and aroma from the beautiful New Zealand Hops, and the beer will develop into a drink that you will want to return to over and over again.

Before you package the final beer, add the vial of Brausol and leave for 48/72 hours for it to clear the finished beer, resulting in a pin bright finish
