Purchased solely because a fair few of my favourite beers use a hop-back (Odell IPA, Landlord to name just a couple). I bought camlock fixtures for them as the Blichmann Quick Connects need to be unscrewed and the rocket can get rather hot. I’ve since started using it to add additional hops after whirlpool additions, in American Style IPAs. I’ve yet to use it as a randalizer. It works as advertised and is really, REALLY robust and industrial.
