Handcraft Supplies 4.5 Litre Wide Neck PET Demijohn can be used for 4.5 litre (1 gallon) batch fermentations of beer, wine or cider. Demijohns can also be used as a secondary fermenter or a long-term storage for aging wine or mead. This item includes an undrilled lid – if fermenting, drill a hole for an airlock or don’t screw the lid all the way to allow CO2 to escape.

The wide neck and large screw lid allows for easy cleaning and the PET design is lightweight and durable. The smooth sides also allow sediment to fall easily without getting trapped.

Do not add boiling water into the PET demijohn as it could melt the material. To clean, use warm water and Handcraft Supplies Cleaner & Sanitiser.

If you wish to use with an airlock then we are able to drill and hole if you add to your order, why not also include and Gromit and airlock with your product
