Evoking the unmistakable aromas of the tropics, Nectaron captures the sense and tantalises the tastebuds with crafter notes of pineapple, passionfruit, peach and grapefruit. Already prove to add abundant character to styles such as strong pale ales and IPAs, this hop is a hop that can sing by itself or add an undeniable ‘wow’ to any brew.

Breeding

Passionalty crafted over 17 years, this hop is a triploid aroma type developed in partnership with New Zealand Plant & Food research and is a full sister to Waimea.

Brewing

The generous flavour of Nectaron has been successfully trialled in big brew styles such as IPA and NEIPA varieties. Its intensely rich characteristics is sure to excite the imaginations of most innovative brewers.

We contract and source our hops from the finest merchants and farms around the world, ensuring you get the chance to brew with the same high quality product that professional breweries use.

Using mylar bags which prevent light degradation of the hops, flushing the bags with nitrogen to remove oxygen and cold storage of them until ordered by you, ensures the hops are as fresh as possible.
