18 l Pulp Bag for the fruit press.

The pulp bag has been designed for a fruit press having a maximum capacity of 18 liters.

Depending on the mash (crused fruit), a proper pressing process, quick and easy, can be guaranteed.
Each fruit species requires its own kind of preparation, though.

It is advised to break grapes before use. This can be done either by a fruit mill or by hand. The pome must be seeded before. However, the amount of juice yield is depending on the content of water of the respective fruit and not on the operator´s capacity. Given the proper fruit preparation, you will find it easy to press by only one hand.

Any and all presses of this type do not allow to press the fruits on the whole. You have to produce a mash (crushed fruit), otherwise a successful process is not possible. You can not compare a wine/cider press with a juicer. Both products operate in a completely different way. As for the grapes for example, they must not be processed in a juicer where their seeds would be destroyed and set free bitter substances. It is the fruit press that assures that the seeds remain uncrushed, thus providing that the juice can be processed into wine.

Apples, pears and other fruits have to be processed into mash before being pressed. You cannot press fruits on the whole, cut into half or quarter pieces because spindle presses are not designed for this purpose.
