Description

This is an American style steam beer, a style made popular but the renewed Anchor Brewing with their wonderful Anchor Steam Cali Common Lager. A traditional lager malt bill which has been fermented with an ale yeast that produces a close to lager finish in terms of its flavour and aroma. Our recipe features Mount Hood hops, generally perceived as an aroma variety with similar characteristics to the German Hallertauer Mittlefruh and Hersbrucker varieties. This beer is easy drinking, easy brewing and a real crowd pleaser!

Fermentation temperature/steps: 17c until completed, keg or bottle and conditioning for 2 weeks. No lagering needed
