Description
LUPOMAX™ is a highly consistent, concentrated lupulin pellet designed to deliver optimized hop flavour. Standardisation of lupulin content delivers true-to-type hop flavor and reliable brewing performance.
“The reduced vegetative matter of LUPOMAX™ pellets gives me a clean hop flavour and really saves on beer loss, too. It can be used at any stage in the brewing process, but it really shines where flavour intensity and reducing beer loss matter most, like dry hopping.” –Virgil McDonald, Head Brewmaster, John I. Haas Innovations Brewery
Consistent Concentration
Barth Haus designed LUPOMAX™ to deliver optimised hop flavour. By reducing vegetative matter, this pellet provides cleaner, more intense hop flavour without grassy, astringent flavours.
Reliable Brewing Performance

Lupulin Powder
Lupulin is the yellow powder which clings to the leaves of the hop. A natural substance in hops which helps give the hop its characteristic scents and flavours and makes beer so delicious.
True-To-Type Hop Flavour
Using the Sensory Plus™ process, assures each batch of hops used to make LUPOMAX™ pellets delivers consistent, true-to-type hop flavours, year after year. Sensory Plus™ is sensory-based hop selection coupled with advanced technical analysis and a proprietary production process.
As a guideline, LUPOMAX™ pellets are designed to be used at a replacement rate of 70%, relative to standard Type 90 (T90) pellets. In other words, if a recipe would normally call for 100g. of T90 hop pellets, it is recommended to use 70g. of LUPOMAX™ enriched- lupulin pellets.
