Round Hill’s resident feline brew king is back and he’s all about spreading the festive joy. This year Santa Claude has a beautiful example of the Bourbon varietal for you all, expect tons of sweet fruity and creamy notes that is underpinned with Marzipan, Raisin and Christmas Pudding, perfect for the festive period.

We’ve been buying coffee from Loma Linda for a few years now. It is the name of an area or section known as a ‘Tablon’ within the larger farm San Francisco owned by the Salaverria family in Santa Ana El Salvador. This particular tablon is quite large, with 38 hectares it is bigger than a lot of farms we buy from! The whole area is about 1700 metres above sea level so quite high for the region and year after year the coffees stand out on the cupping table as some of the best.

The Salaverria family is known for producing exceptional natural coffees.

They have pretty ideal weather conditions, with a dry climate without being too hot. They dry most of their naturals on large patios that are at high altitudes, however micro lots such as this one have been dried a little more carefully and with greater airflow on raised African beds. Leading to a cleaner cup profile.

We offer the option for your coffee to be ground to order or for you to have it delivered as whole beans, all in quantity’s that you specific and work for your needs.

We offer the option to grind coffee for either filter or espresso. We grind your coffee for a generic setting that will suit a lot of purposes, if you choose espresso grind please note this has been set to grind for a “pressurised” machine that you might find in most domestic settings however if you have a more advanced espresso machine we would recommend whole bean and grinding at home so you can dial in your perfect shot.
