Description

Adjustable pressure relief valves, commonly referred to as spunding valves.  These valves enable Unitank fermenters to both ferment under pressure and condition beer before transferring to a keg.

This kit is designed to hook up the Sspunding Valve to the Unitank blow off cane as shown. Kit include the following:
• Sspunding Valve
• Micro Tee
• Micro 90° Elbow
• 3x 1.5″ TC Clamps
• 3x 1.5″ TC Gaskets

    So impressed with this piece of kit. As is often the case with The Malt Miller, there are a number of excellent options provided. Here we have the slightly cheaper spunding valve (by about £50) in that a) it is not pre-calibrated b) it does not have a built in pressure relief value and c) it is fit for 2 bbl as opposed to a 3.5bbl system. The first two caveats are easily addressed by the fact that SS Unitanks already have a pressure gauge (really easy to dial in the pressure) and pressure relief taps and the size restriction is not an issue for most home brewers. Add to this that the fittings are included and job done. This is a seriously well made and professional piece of kit. As always, flawless, efficient service. Very happy customer.
