Description

Ideal for siphoning out of a fermenter, demijohn, bucket or FermZilla.  This siphon includes the 150cm x 10mm ID Silicone Tube.

This whole assembly is plasticiser and BPA free.  It will not break like the plastic auto siphons or polycarbonate designs.

It’s made robust out of 304 grade stainless steel and is really easy to take apart for cleaning.  It’s more versatile than a conventional racking cane and easier to start but at the same time similarly simple to use and clean.

Forget about fermenter taps and use a siphon.  Threaded fermenter taps are hard to clean and sanitise so having a fermenter without a tap is often the best choice, and to get the beverage out of the fermenter without a tap this siphon is the natural choice.

INSTRUCTIONS
1: Sanitise and rinse your siphon
2: Make sure you have the full vessel significantly above the empty vessel you are filling into
3: Attach the curved siphon to the hose
4: Submerge the end of siphon into your full container.
5: With long swift strokes shake the siphone tube up and down to start the siphon action

    just bought one of these, steel pipe and marble are sturdy and well made, disappointed in siphon tube, only ever used the thick walled platinum cured silicone tube from here so was surprised the folded tube was stuck together inside and has permanent kinks. Swapped it out for some silicone tubing as mentioned above. Flow rate is excellent and the self prime thing is even easier than the video. Just get some 12 mm ID 21 mm OD tubing from here at the same time so as not to be disappointed.

      Hey Michael, funnily, what other suppliers call “heavy Duty” silicone tube is not up to TMM standard. We like it when it doesn’t kink under its own weight which is why we stock the 12 x 21mm. Makes it much easier to use. The tubing that ships with, and the siphon are supplied in one box by Kegland. I agree that the addition of our own brand, made in the UK, silicone tubing would be a great upgrade, completing the product.
