Description
A Baltic Porter often has the malt flavours reminiscent of an English porter and the restrained roast of a schwarzbier, but with a higher OG and alcohol content than either. Very complex, with multi-layered malt and dark fruit flavours. Check out the BJCP entry here. A beer to be brewed and left to lager for the true flavours to develop, you will be rewarded with an amazing beer to savour.

So I have just started drinking this, has been in keg for three weeks and I couldn’t wait any longer. It is one of the best beers I have made, I would say it has come out more like a stout though, I had expected a thinner beer with maybe liquorice and roasty flavours but what I have got is a big hitting stout !!. Saying that it does taste delicous so I’m more than happy.
