The description is perfect and the WHC LAX gives a very nice crisp clean finish. I may add a small dry hop addition next time but that’s just a personal choice. If you’re looking for a Red Ale, it’s a great place to start.

I bought this kit as I have really been enjoying Red ales over last few years – When I think of what I have enjoyed previously its the fruity element , this doesn’t have that to be fair its exactly as described a deep rich colour that can be confused for a porter until you hold up to the light and the Red colour shines through. Malty rich flavour which i am really enjoying .. Looking forward to how this one matures.
