Description

Most commercial kegs will use a traditional type keg spear like d-type keg spear(American Sankey) or the a-type keg spear(German Slider).  These keg spears have been designed for commercial use and will use larger and high flow rates.

With that said some customers like the ability to use these commercial kegs but would prefer to have ball lock posts on the keg as the fittings are more compact, less expensive and easily obtainable.  This unique fitting enables the spear to be removed from the commercial kegs and then fitted with this sanitary 2inch tri-clover adaptor.  This is the most economical way to use the commercial kegs with ball lock posts.

It also makes using a commercial style keg as a fermenter possible, being able to ferment under pressure using a spunding valve

This assembly includes:
1. Ball Lock Post Lid
2. 2 inch tri-clover clamp
3. 60cm silicone dip tube
4. Red 2.5bar pressure relief valve (These are also interchageable with various other standard cornelius PRVs)

Included Flexible Dip Tube
Easy To Use And Attach

Bought this as I bought new fridges and the sankey connector wouldn’t fit , I much prefer these as you can burp the head when filling.
I suggest you buy stainless steel straws and cut them in halve, push one into the end of the silicone tube to weight it down or buy thicker tubing.
That said it a great bit of kit and will be buying more.

Frustrated with the 19l kegs with my 1 bbl setup so graded to 50L kegs (unfortunately they don’t appear to be available from Malt Miller (hint hint). I still have all of my home brew disconnects and prefer to use them. Would be nice to buy a fully adapted 50L keg though. 🙂

Its real good. Top quality. The disconnect fits on the posts like a glove. The tri clover is also good quality. Built to last.
