Description
Brewbrite Wort Clarifier – Brewing Finings for Clear, Stable Beer
Available in 50g, 500g and 1kg
Description
Brewbrite Wort Clarifier is a highly effective kettle fining designed to improve wort clarity and reduce both chill haze and permanent haze in finished beer. Added during the final stages of the boil, this fine white powder works by binding proteins and polyphenols, helping them precipitate out for a brighter, more stable beer.
Ideal for brewers looking to achieve professional-level clarity, Brewbrite is widely used in both home and commercial brewing to enhance visual quality without impacting flavour or aroma.
Key Features & Benefits
- Improves wort clarity during the boil
- Helps eliminate chill haze and permanent haze
- Supports long-term beer stability
- Works alongside Irish Moss, Protafloc and other kettle finings
- Suitable for all beer styles
- Easy to use with consistent results
How It Works
Brewbrite acts as a wort clarifier and stabiliser, encouraging unwanted haze-forming compounds to coagulate and settle out during the boil. This results in clearer wort going into fermentation and ultimately a brighter finished beer.
It is designed to be used in conjunction with traditional kettle finings, not as a replacement, giving brewers an extra level of clarity and control.
How to Use
- Add Brewbrite in the last 10 minutes of the boil
- The boil will naturally disperse the powder
Alternatively:
- Draw a small amount of wort
- Mix in the Brewbrite to create a slurry
- Return to the boil for even distribution
Dosage
- Recommended rate: 0.17g per litre
- Equivalent to approx. 4g per 23L batch
Why Use Brewbrite?
For brewers aiming for crystal clear beer, Brewbrite offers a simple and effective way to reduce haze at the source. By improving wort clarity before fermentation, it helps produce beer that looks as good as it tastes, with enhanced shelf stability and visual appeal.
