Description
A common acid found in citrus fruits like lemons and limes, Citric Acid provides a fruity flavour. This acid can be added to fruits or flowers when they are low in acidity or when a recipe calls for it.
Also very useful for cleaning your brewing equipment to remove protein from brew kettles or where hops have discoloured/ stained equipment. Soak equipment in a citric acid solution for a few hours and then rinse.
This can be used in the production of Elderflower Wine and Cordial, along with other fermented wines using fruits and flowers.
