A rich, dark brew displaying coffee, chocolate and liquorice aromatics, roasty bitter notes with a dry finish.
Thomas Coopers Irish Stout is an authentic recipe containing a blend of malted barley, roasted barley, flaked barley and hops. The pour will show a turbulent, cascading tan foaming action. Eventually, this settles into a creamy beige coloured head that rests atop the beer.

I made this with the kit yeast, reduced water, no extra sugar but with 300g lactose = yeilding around 23 pints. Just drank the first bottle 6 days after bottling. Very happy with the results and I’m wondering at the moment why I go to the effort of masking from the grain.
