This is a Recipe created by Colin Hockings who we met at Brew Con 2018 with this beer. We tasted it and thought it was fantastic, so fresh hiding its heavy hitting ABV under a hazy juicy fruitiness, so he agreed to share the recipe with us to put on the site.

Thomas Fawcett – Golden Promise Pale Ale Malt (6000 grams)
Weyermann® Wheat Malt Light (1500 grams)
SIMPSONS MALT GOLDEN NAKED OATS® (1000 grams)
Weyermann® Acidulated Malt (600 grams)
Citra Pellets (200 grams)
Mosaic Pellets (280 grams)
SafAle™ US-05 11.5g (2 packs)

Additions and timing:
100 g Citra & 80 g Mosaic at flameout. 20 minutes hop stand
Secondary additions and timing:
100 g Citra & 200 g Mosaic dry hop after 1 day of active fermentation
Yeast: SafAle™ US-05
Fermentation temperature/steps: 18c raising to 20c until FG achieved
Comments:
Be very careful about oxygen during bottling or kegging, and plan to drink this with your friends fairly quickly, or you might get the dreaded Grey NEIPA.
