Split this to brew 2 beers when my son asked me to make beer for his birthday party (2 weeks away) and I didn’t have time to brew from scratch. Brewed a light lager using WHC Blitz Lager yeast (room temp, pressure fermented), and a Neck Oil style Pale Ale using LAX yeast (with additional 80C hop steep & dry hopping). Diluted to 4% to make them sessionable. Beers turned out great, particularly considering the short turn around. High quality results, and so easy to use. Will definitely use again when I’m short on time or don’t fancy a long brew day. Recommended.

These kits sparked my interest as I live in an area of the country subject to a hosepipe ban which makes cleaning my all in one brew kit really difficult to clean. It also means I can’t use a wort chiller which is particularly necessary when fermenting in a 30 litre Chubby pressure fermenter. So this kit turned up and wort and yeast were in the fermenter in about 15 mins with no clean up necessary. I went for a Extra Pale Ale with Mangroves Jack’s Liberty Bell yeast and no additional hops. It’s been in a corny keg for a fortnight and while not especially clear is already tasting fantastic. Will try one of the other base kits next month.
