Second time I’ve brewed this and its a banger. It’s as good as (better!!) than any commercial wheat bear I’ve tried. Its quick and easy to brew (one hop addition, 60 min mash, 60 min boil) It ferments like lightening and conditions in the bottle just as quick. Brew day to drinking in 5 weeks. Fermented at a slightly higher temp (21c) second time round and got more banana flavour which I like. Also primed with plenty dextrose (225g) so got a proper fizz. Chill it right down and its perfect for the sunny weather. thsi is firmly on the fixture list from now on. Oh and its as cheap as chips.

Would definitely brew this one again. Tastes at least as good if not better than the beer it is imitating. Really easy brew day. FG was only 1.012 no idea why but brewed with no temp control so might be the reason. Anyway, tastes great! I primed for bottling using 115g of sugar, should have used more as it took a few extra weeks to get to the right amount of carbonation, 2 weeks conditioning wasn’t enough. Highly rate this kit.

Simple recipe, easy brew day and fast fermentation producing a Hefe Weiss at least as good as any commercial example. You can’t go wrong with this one!

A superb kit,and the beer is great, a bargain at £15, highly recommended.

Second time brewed this one, easy to brew, and good taste. Can drink in 2 weeks. But of course the longer you hold the better it tastes. Will buy again, don’t have fancy brewing kit, only plastic mash bucket and plastic fermentation bucket, but beer comes as good as I was expecting

Brewed this in Fermzilla at 28C, which completed fermentation in less than 48hrs. Cold crashed on the 4th day, and had my first (cold) glass from the Fermzilla on the 5th day. Really really good flavour. It’ll need a few more days to reach 3.5 Weissbier carbonation, but it’s already hard to stay away from the tap.

I’ve brewed this a couple of times, tasted straight out of Bavaria. Bottled and kegged for conditioning, both taste great.

Great Weiss ! I just changed the yeast . I’m not big fun of mangrove jacks and the result was great! I will try some other Weiss recipe next time.

This was my first all grain / brew in a bag brew, I halved the grain and brewed a 10L batch, using simple equipment, kettle with gas burner, no sparge just squeeze, plastic fermenter @ 20°c, it all went well, bottled with dextrose.
Early on the beer tasted a bit young and I got very sweet wheat / sweetcorn flavours, but after waiting a couple weeks leaving bottles in a coolish place I got a fantastic quality beer, as a big fan of wheat beer I would say mine turned out tasting very similar to ‘Keiler Weissbier Hell’ more than Erdinger, absolutely drinkable and great beer.

Brewed at the beginning of March. It is easy to brew and we did a taste comparison with Erdinger last night – hence the 5stars!! It is slightly darker and maltier than the original and has that lovely banana/clove aroma and taste. I used 5g per ltr dextrose for bottle conditioning and it has good carbonation already. Will defo brew again. Thanks for a great recipe.

Second time I’ve brewed this beer, if you like this style, for the price, it’s just like the real thing, easy to brew. Great thirst quencher in those hot summer days.

Great brew, quick to ferment. Tasty. Jumped up in price recently nearly 20% jump since I last bought it.
