Description
Glowing with tropical charm, Juice Lantern lights the way to a world of ripe fruit and citrus bliss. Dry-hopped with Citra® and Dolcita™, this hazy IPA bursts with mango, peach, melon, and tangerine, all wrapped in a silky body of oats and lactose. Soft, smooth, and brilliantly aromatic — it’s haze that shines.
This kit includes the latest hop from BarthHaas — Dolcita™ — a brand-new named variety following years of development and exceptional trial results. Known for its soft, sweet citrus profile, Dolcita™ brings layers of peach, melon, and tangerine, with a rounded, almost candy-like fruitiness that makes it perfect for modern hazy IPAs. Paired with the tropical intensity of Citra®, it delivers a vibrant, juicy aroma that’s as fresh as it is distinctive.
Fresh Wort Kits are an amazing way to produce commercial quality beer at home with basic equipment. No experience of home brewing is required, simply follow the instructional videos and share awesome beer with your friends and family.
Unlike traditional beer kits that are made from malt extract, our Fresh Wort Kits are produced in a professional brew house into bag in a box style packaging. This means all the fresh flavours the team at the brewery magic into their wort are available for our customers to then complete the brewing process at home.
Simply pour the Fresh Wort Kit into a fermenter, top up to 20ltrs and add the yeast. Commercial beer at home with ease.

To brew Juice Lantern, start by adding enough water to bring your total volume to 20 L — this should give a starting OG around 1.060.
Once fermentation is complete, you can manage the yeast and hop material depending on your setup. If your fermenter allows for removing yeast and hop matter, gently remove the yeast once the beer reaches a soft crash at around 14 °C post fermentation. Similarly, remove the dry hops after 72 hours of contact for the best aroma extraction. If you want to get even more from your dry hop addition and your fermenter allows CO₂ bubbling from the bottom, this can be done 24 hours after adding the dry hops to push hop back into the beer for extra flavour.
Cold Crashing (optional but recommended): If possible, chill the beer down to near 0–4 °C for 24–48 hours before packaging. This helps to drop out remaining solids and hop particles, producing a cleaner tasting beer and making it easier to package.
Now it’s time to package. You can transfer into either kegs or bottles. For bottling, remember to add priming sugar (not included) — you can calculate the correct amount using our online calculator. Keep bottled beer somewhere warm so the yeast can carbonate the beer naturally.
Next, condition your beer. This means placing it somewhere cool for at least a week. after a week or two try one bottle and test the carbonation levels. Once you are happy with this you can chill your bottles and enjoy!
Finally, pour yourself a glass of Juice Lantern and enjoy the tropical fruit, citrus, and subtle melon notes brought by Dolcita™ and Citra® — hazy, juicy, and brilliantly aromatic. Cheers!
