New MK5 CO2 regulator from KegLand ships with a SodaStream adapter for easier mobile dispense. This update includes several features making it more suited for home brew dispense systems

This MK5 Regulator ships with an outlet adapter enabling the use of 8mm ( 5/16 ) or 3/8 ( 9.5mm ) gas line. Plus, in some circumstances the had wheel can foul the handle on some CO2 bottles. We have included an adapter to negation this issue.

1. One handed tightening to the Cylinder. No spanner / wrench is required to attach the Regulator to your CO2 Cylinder. You can easily attach it with the nut-hand-wheel with one hand.
This is due to a new spigot seal design that easily compresses without risk of damaging the seal or leaking.

2. Self servicing maintenance without the need for a vice or specialised equipment. Now with the regulators internals being shrunk down and accessible from the back plate. You can now easily undo the area with the regulator knob that has an M8 Hex / Allen key head and clean out your regulator if you have a contaminant get in there.

3. Output with Check Valve, Ball Valve & Integrated 8mm duotight push in.

4.  Triple scale Class 2.5 Gauges in kPa, Bar and PSI  (+-2.5% Accuracy)

5.  Brand new seat cap assembly design. The new seat cap is made of ultra high molecular polyethylene. That basically means from hardcore use and abuse that us homebrewers give regulators like force carbonating. The seat cap that is bouncing up and down is less likely to scratch and create brass finings that could otherwise cause pressure creep down the line from an internal contaminant going upstream.

6. Stronger Steel Gauges made from thicker steel

7,  Colour Coded PRV valves.  This unit comes with a 65psi Green PRV. It does not come with a Red 35psi or Grey 100psi PRV

8. M6 Mounting Holes for easy Mounting. Please note, you will need to remove the nut-wheel as it will foul when mounting flat.

Instructions for Setting Up the Kegland MK5 CO2 Regulator with SodaStream Cylinder Adapter

1. Insert the PTFE Washer (Between Adapter and Regulator):

   • Place the PTFE washer between the SodaStream Cylinder Adapter and the Kegland MK5 regulator to ensure a secure seal.

2. Attach the SodaStream Adapter to the Regulator:

   • Screw the SodaStream Cylinder Adapter onto the CO2 input valve of the Kegland MK5 Dual Gauge Regulator. Tighten securely.

3. Connect the CO2 Cylinder:

   • Screw the SodaStream CO2 cylinder into the SodaStream Cylinder Adapter. Tighten securely and quickly, you may hear a little gas escape, keep tightening.

4. Adjust the Regulator Knob:

   • Before turning on the gas, ensure the pressure adjustment knob (marked + / –) is turned fully counter-clockwise to the off position.

5. Set Desired Pressure:

   • Slowly turn the pressure adjustment knob in the + direction to begin the gas flow.

   • Adjust until you reach the desired pressure for your carbonation needs.

6. Monitor Pressure Gauges:

   • Use the dual pressure gauges to monitor the gas supply (cylinder pressure) and output pressure to ensure consistent carbonation.

NOTE: This regulator is sold with the Green 65PSI(4.5BAR) pressure relief valve. Both lower and higher PRV’s are available if required
