Description

BIAB – top-shelf polyester brew in a bag (BIAB) featuring 65-micron mesh with 1-inch reinforced Webbing.  The bags will fit our 50L pot easily and tightly with a 70L .

These are the strongest bags we have available and will work best if you are using a pully system to remove the grain bag.

When mashing with any mesh bag they should not be in contact with a heat source which is powered on as this will cause them to melt and split. Best practice is to heat your liquor, turn off the element, add the bag and grain, then leave for the desired time with no heating.

 

NOTE: This product is just the bag and does not include the kettle which can be purchase separately

    A very strong, well made bag, however, not without its drawbacks. I cannot use this bag with my recirculating system as the flow rate through it is insufficient to maintain enough liquid in the bottom to prevent my element from exploding. In a standard infusion tun, this would be unbeatable but in a recirculation system the mesh is just too fine to allow the flow rate I want.
