The finished beer will be full on juicy, fruity goodness in the glass, with plenty of body and enough bitterness to cut through the residual sweetness. The addition of Eclipse and Vic Secret Hops will complement the whirlpool additions of Eclipse and Galaxy perfectly, for a punch bowl of delicious fruity goodness!
Fresh Wort Kits are an amazing way to produce commercial quality beer at home with basic equipment. No experience of home brewing is required, simply follow the instructional videos and share awesome beer with your friends and family.
Unlike traditional beer kits that are made from malt extract, our Fresh Wort Kits are produced in a professional brew house into bag in a box style packaging. This means all the fresh flavours the team at the brewery magic into their wort are available for our customers to then complete the brewing process at home.
Simply pour the Fresh Wort Kit into a fermenter, top up to 23ltrs with good quality water and add the yeast. Commercial beer at home with ease.

Yeast: WHC Hornindal Kveik
A dried version of a yeast strain isolated from a kveik isolate from the Hornindial region in Norway. Similar to other kveik strains like Voss this is a thermotolerant strain. Higher temperatures increase the production of tropical fruit esters, ferment this yeast between 28c and 37c and will complete fermentation in a far quicker time, usually only a few days. As ever though, we suggest that once fermentation is complete you allow a few days for a directly rest before moving on to dry hopping phase.
Secondary additions:
Once fermentation is complete, if you have the ability to cool your wort and drop yeast we recommend this before adding dry hops – ideally to around 15c, however if this is not the case then move on to dry hopping either way, both 100g of Eclipse and Vic Secret. Leave these in contact with the beer for 48-72 hours, rousing with co2 if you are able to. Then if you can, drop the hops out from the bottom of your FV before cold crashing and packaging or move on to packaging if you do not have the ability to cold crash.

Astonishing beer. Lovely yellow colour, thick with haze, and a very good mouthfeel. You can smell the tropical fruits, and the taste is fantastic, really fruity and tropical. These fresh wort kits, although more expensive, are SO much better than the all grain kits, and save you heaps of time.
