Description

This easy to use, robust, crown capper can be attached to a bench or table using self tapping screws or bolts. This makes it easier to use but equally it is no problem to cap bottles without it attached.

Just about any bottle from 250ml to 1 litre can be capped with ease, adjustment for bottle height is simple and quick. 26mm Is the standard size for most 250 – 500ml bottles. The bonus of this device is that it ships with a larger 29mm mandrel ( the metal piece that forces the crimp ) that can be used on Champagne, Leffe, and cider bottles that are normally 750ml. Again, it is easy to swap the mandril, it simply unscrews.

    This is a good tool and saves lots of time and hassle. I was struggling with the hand held capper on some old recycled bottle which were tall and narrow and bought this to see if it was better. You need to screw it to a board or top but once thats done and you get over the fear of pressing too hard it does a great job (just need to pull the bottle out an angle to get it out of the capper as its a tight fit as it needs to be).
