The efficiency in the recipe is wrong, I make it about 73% and not 80% which i got that gave me an OG of 1.057 and a 6% beer., which I guess is a bonus. I also used 2 packs of yeast as 1 pack will give you a pitch rate just below the manufacturers minimum.

This is a lovely beer, a simple grain bill and hop schedule that just works and give a great APA. I’ve never used this hop before and the flavour from it is just great. Will definitely be using again.

Definitely the best beer I’ve ever brewed. Really nice and fruity Will be making this a regular.

I made this when I attended the Malt Miller brew day. Absolutely delicious beer. Definitely the best I’ve ever made and is up there with the best Pale Ales I’ve ever drank!!!

A great pale ale, easy to brew with fantastic results. This is going to be another regular for me.

Without doubt, one of the best AG beers I have ever brewed and tasted. A gentle upfront bitterness is followed by a gorgeous rush of Strata. Tropical fruit and citrus heaven. Smooth, easy drinking heaven and a real dark horse at 5.5%

    Order with absolute confidence.

I’ve just reordered after my first ‘test pint’.

Supping my second attempt tonight and it tastes identical to the first effort.

    Spectacular.

This was delicious. i was short on time and ended up pitching on to the WLP 820 yeast cake from my Festbier which I had just transferred to keg. So in effect I brewed it like an IPL and left to condition for about 6 weeks. But why a 25 litre batch size? I (probably like a lot of others) brewed this in a 30 litre alll in one system. After mash, sparge and boil I was left with 23 litres with OG 1.061. I had to dilute with another 3 litres of water to get back to a sensible OG. So after fermentation, i’m left trying to squeeze around 24 litres of beer into a 19 litre corny keg. Do us a favour and give us the option to buy as a 21 litre kit so I don’t need to faff around with bottles again.
