Additions and timing:

Hop Additions

1-Strata – 15g @60mins
2-Strata – 10g @15mins
3-Strata – 10g @5mins

1/2 Protofloc & Yeast Nutrient @15mins

Secondary additions and timing:

Dry Hop the remaining hops (65g) at 16c after primary fermentation has been completed. Hold for 48 hours before then cold crashing as close to 1c as you can for 2-4 days. This beer is best served on keg and avoid oxygen contact as much as possible.

Yeast: US-05
Fermentation temperature/steps: 19c for apx 7 days, once fermentation has completed.

The use of Simpsons Golden Promises compliments the hop choice perfectly with its sweet malty flavour which works to enhance the tropical notes of the hops.

Holding the mash out temperate for slightly longer than usual helps to develop a little more colour into the finished beer and mashing towards the higher end of the range (68c) also works to retain some body in the mouthfeel.

Using US-05 gives you a clean ferment and little to no yeast profile, which again allows for the hops to shine through.

This beer is a great, easy drinking and accessible one to enjoy with friends and family love the warmer months.
