Description
Oggdo Bogdo – Sureshot Brewing x Emperor’s Brewery
Thick. Decadent. Unrelenting.
Beer Overview
Oggdo Bogdo is a colossal 12% Imperial Stout, brewed as a collaboration between Sureshot Brewing and Emperor’s Brewery—two names synonymous with bold, flavour-packed beer. This is Sureshot’s biggest imperial stout to date, designed to push richness, depth and intensity to the limit.
Pouring thick and inky, it delivers waves of sweet maple character, deep chocolate richness and warming alcohol complexity. This is a beer that evolves as you drink—layered, indulgent and unapologetically heavy.
Flavour Profile
Taste: Maple sweetness, dark chocolate, cocoa and rich roasted malt with warming alcohol depth.
Mouthfeel: Full-bodied, thick and viscous.
Finish: Long, warming and complex with lingering sweetness and roast.
Aroma
Sweet maple syrup, doughy chocolate and rich roasted malt dominate, with subtle warming alcohol notes adding depth.
Brewing Process & Uniqueness
Oggdo Bogdo is brewed to maximise richness and intensity. A heavy malt bill creates its thick, oozing body, while careful fermentation allows the beer’s complex flavours to develop and evolve over time.
The collaboration with Emperor’s Brewery, known for their expertise in big, decadent stouts, brings an added layer of depth and indulgence. The result is a beer that balances sweetness, roast and alcohol warmth in a constantly shifting flavour experience.
This is a stout designed for slow drinking—one that rewards patience and attention.

High quality & small batch. Straight from the beating heart of Manchester.
Founded in 2020 by James Campbell and Michael Forde, with the first beers released in 2022, Sureshot Brewing quickly became a standout on Manchester’s craft beer scene. James Campbell, one of the UK’s most influential brewers, helped set the creative direction before moving on, leaving behind a legacy of hop-forward brewing that continues to shape Sureshot’s identity.
Today, the brewery is best known for its hazy pales, juicy IPAs, and modern lagers—styles that showcase bold hop character, soft mouthfeel, and vibrant tropical and citrus notes. With a reputation for high-quality releases and striking can art, Sureshot has established itself as one of Manchester’s most exciting independent breweries, building on its founders’ vision while pushing forward with its own creative momentum.
