    I am using these (with a length of PVC hose) as a blow off pipe on Grainfather conical fermenters. They work really well for this purpose and I find them a much better solution than conventional airlocks.

    Just added this to a new fermentation bin. Great universal item. I use it with a blow off tube (platinum cured silicone) for fermentation, and also adding co2 at a low pressure when transferring to a cornie to prevent oxygen exposure.
