These all grain kits are all designed with one thing in mind, making great tasting beer at affordable prices. We’ve built and created this range to offer our first “core” range of all grain kits that represent either great ingredients, methods or beer styles which we adore.

A beautiful golden ale, perfect for late spring and summer evenings. Showcasing Mystic Hops, a newer hop in the English hop range. Mystic delivers Blackcurrant, Orange & Passionfruit in both aroma and flavour.

Allow some condition on this beer once packaged to allow flavours to settle and the beer to clear in either keg of bottle. If you have access to a beer engine, this beer would be beautiful as cask style serve.

Hop / kettle additions and timing:

30g Mystic @ 60mins (16 IBU)
30g Mystic @ 15mins (10IBU)
20g Mystic @ 5min (4 IBU)

Whirlpool / hop stand:

20g Mystic @ 0mins – 15min hop stand at 80c before transferring to FV

Yeast: WHC Old English
Fermentation temperature/steps: 19c – 7-10 days

Secondary additions:

Add kettle finings such as Protofloc at 15mins. You will want this beer to be bright so consider some other finings in the brew such as Brewbrite in addition to Protofloc.
