We Sing At Six And A Half from Verdant Brewing Co is a beautifully tuned 6.5% IPA that hits what the brewery calls its “Goldilocks zone”—the point where balance, hop intensity and drinkability come perfectly into sync.

Built around Verdant’s signature hazy style, this IPA pours a glowing pale gold with a soft, cloud-like body. It’s saturated with bright citrus and tropical fruit from a carefully selected hop bill of Citra, NZH-101 and Nectaron, all anchored by Verdant’s distinctive yeast character that brings subtle dank depth and complexity.

This is Verdant operating at full harmony—precise, juicy and incredibly moreish.

Flavour Profile

Taste: Bright citrus, mango and ripe tropical fruit layered with soft stone fruit and subtle dank undertones.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, pillowy and smooth.

Aroma

Aromatic bursts of citrus zest, tropical fruit and soft peach rise from the glass, backed by Verdant’s signature dank, yeast-driven complexity.

Brewing Process & Uniqueness

This beer is designed around Verdant’s belief that 6.5% ABV is the sweet spot for their IPA range—where flavour intensity, mouthfeel and drinkability align perfectly.

A soft malt base of extra pale malt, wheat, oats, flaked wheat and dextrin malt creates a full, hazy body with a pillowy texture. The hop combination of Citra, NZH-101 and Nectaron delivers layered citrus and tropical fruit, while Verdant’s house yeast adds depth, subtle dankness and a signature finish.

The result is a hazy IPA that feels calibrated—refined, expressive and effortlessly drinkable.

In 2014, Verdant started to make beers that we love. Nothing’s changed. It’s still about taste, quality, and all ’round deliciousness. Think juicy, hoppy, unfiltered, hazy beers that are always vegan! That’s us. We also love to explore from time to time, brewing lagers, stouts, cask ales… We’re independent, and always will be — that way we can continue to push boundaries and make beer we love, and hopefully, you will love them too.

Verdant began life back in Autumn 2014 when homebrewers Adam and James teamed up with Rich to craft US-inspired beers that weren’t available locally. Since then the team has continued to grow alongside the demand for our beer! We’re now a team of 30 people, all driven by the same passion. Our ethos revolves around brewing the flavour-packed beers we love to drink, and ensuring that beer lovers have access to delicious, quality-driven releases week after week. We are also proud to welcome and embrace all the diversity that this industry has to offer, anyone is welcome here at Verdant. We strive to ensure a workplace that is centred on inclusion and diversity.

Hoppy, juicy, hazy, unfiltered, vegan-friendly beers!

When Verdant began to bloom, back in 2014, we decided that our focus would be hop-forward beers inspired by the New England craft beer scene. Over the past few years, we’ve become synonymous with hop-forward beer styles including Pale Ale, IPA & DIPA. We’ve placed an emphasis on balance and drinkability while taking inspiration from the beers of both the East and West Coasts of the United States. We also love exploring different styles and are regularly brewing Lagers, as well as luscious stouts over the winter period.
