This is an experimental brew for your to test the comparison between two yeast options in the same wort. Please note this is intended to be split between 2 FV’s and not into one.
We used Summit as the hop for this and its well rounded, piney yet fruity characteristics really do shine through in both beers, but in different ways!

BESTMALZ Best Heidelberg (3500 grams)
BESTMALZ Pale Ale Malt (3500 grams)
Simpsons Malts Crystal Light (200 grams)
Weyermann Carahell (400 grams)
Summit Pellets (200 grams)
Mangrove Jack’s Hophead Ale M66 Yeast (1 packs)
Mangrove Jacks Liberty Bell Ale M36 Yeast (1 packs)

THE BOIL

Additions and timing:
Summit – 10g @ 60min
Summit – 20g @ 7min
Summit – 50g @ 2min
Secondary additions and timing:
Yeast Nutrient and Protafloc at 15mins
Dry Hop after primary fermentation at 14c – 60g Summit into each FV.
Hold for 2 days then cold crash for 2 days and package!
Yeast: M66 & M36 Split across 2 separate FV’s
Fermentation temperature/steps: 19c for primary fermentation
