The Wild Goose Chicken Stand – For Juicy, Flavourful Beer Can Chicken

Elevate your BBQ game with the Wild Goose Chicken Stand — the ultimate accessory for cooking tender, juicy, and evenly roasted whole chickens on your ceramic grill or barbecue. Designed to hold a chicken upright over a beer or marinade reservoir, this stand ensures crispy skin, moist meat, and deep flavour infusion with every cook.

Why Use the Wild Goose Chicken Stand?

  • Juicier Results: Steam from the beer or marinade keeps the chicken moist from the inside out.

  • Even Cooking: The vertical position allows heat to circulate all around the bird for consistent doneness.

  • Crispier Skin: Elevated cooking exposes more surface area for beautifully crisp, golden-brown skin.

  • Hands-Free Cooking: Simply set it up, close the lid, and let your BBQ do the work.

  • Mess-Free: Fat drips into the base, keeping flare-ups to a minimum and your BBQ cleaner.

The Wild Goose Chicken Stand lets you make tender whole chicken on your grill.

Simply fill the stand with the liquid of your choice (beer, marinade, juice, etc.), set a whole chicken onto the stand and place on your kamado or in your oven.

The steam from the liquid makes the meat moist.

Stand is most from glazed ceramic, finished in graphite grey.

The Perfect Pairing: Outdoor Cooking & Home Brewing

Outdoor cooking and home brewing go hand in hand — both are about slowing down, getting hands-on, and crafting something truly special from raw ingredients. Whether you’re tending to a low-and-slow brisket on a ceramic BBQ or carefully fermenting your latest IPA, the process is as rewarding as the final result.

Both pursuits share a love of flavour, technique, and experimentation. Just like perfecting the balance of hops and malt in a home-brewed beer, outdoor cooking invites you to play with smoke, spice, and heat to create unforgettable meals. They’re both about mastery through experience, and turning your backyard into a place where real craft comes to life.

Best of all, few things go together better than a cold home brew and food hot off the grill — made by you, for the people you love.
