Sanitising
Sanitising brewing equipment is essential to stop bacterial infection. Anything that touches wort after it has been boiled, or at anytime if brewing from a beer kit, has to be sanitised. The easiest way to achieve this is by using a No Rinse Sanitiser. A small amount of neat chemical is mixed with water to create the solution. Equipment can then be sprayed, wiped with a cloth or submerged in the solution before use.
