Description

HopHaze is our new brewing solution designed to create remarkably stable haze in beer. It’s an all-natural, 100% hop-derived product that’s added to beer after filtration before the bright tank/pre-packaging. It’s flavour-neutral and will not impact the flavour or aroma of finished beer. Year-long trials have shown that HopHaze will last the entire shelf-life of the beer, without setting out of solution.

Hop Haze Addition for Hazy Beer

Creating and managing haze stability can be difficult and expensive. HopHaze™ offers a 100% hop natural solution to help you create the appearance that your beers and other creations deserve.

To use HopHaze™, simply add it post-fermentation and post-filtration, ensuring adequate mixing of the product and beer. It is recommended to add HopHaze™ on the suction side of a centrifugal pump and avoid dosing it in close proximity to CO2 addition points, as localized pH reduction by CO2 can lead to losses of HopHaze™. A good starting point is to add 0.5g of HopHaze™ per 1 L of beer, 12g per 23l ( 40 pint batch ) adjusting the amount accordingly based on the desired level of haze. Try HopHaze™ today and experience the difference it can make in your beer.

The HopHaze™ is a revolutionary new product that can help brewers achieve a perfectly stable and beautiful haze.

Made from 100% naturally hop-derived ingredients, HopHaze™ is an easy-to-use solution that enhances shelf stability and haze longevity. What’s more, it has no impact on the flavour or aroma of your beer.

HopHaze™ is derived from a CO2 extract of hops (Humulus lupulus) and contains components that are recognised as safe (GRAS) in accordance with US FDA regulation 21 CFR 182.20.

What Brewers Are Saying About HopHaze

“One of the challenges of hazy IPAs, or any hazy beer style, is to make a stable haze that doesn’t settle out across time. Nobody wants their beer to look like a snow globe, and nobody wants to experience a bunch of sediment either. Haze stability has been an ongoing technical challenge for brewers for quite some time” – Joe Casey, Brewmaster Anheuser-Busch Brewers Collective
