FermZilla 2″ Tri-Clover Lid Upgrade (All Rounder & Tri-Conical)

This 2″ Tri-Clover Lid is one of the most useful upgrades you can make to a FermZilla fermenter, giving you a far more practical way to add hops, yeast or take samples without removing the full lid.

If you’re dry hopping under pressure or trying to keep oxygen exposure to an absolute minimum, this lid opens up a much cleaner workflow — especially when paired with Tri-Clover accessories such as a hop bong or butterfly valve.

Instead of cracking the fermenter open, you can build a top-mounted, CO₂-purged hop addition system that protects your beer during the most oxygen-sensitive stage of fermentation.

Designed for Low Oxygen Dry Hopping

Dry hopping is one of the easiest ways to introduce unwanted oxygen. This lid was developed for brewers who want to:

• Add hops without lifting the entire lid

• Purge additions with CO₂ before dropping them in

• Take samples from the top without disturbing the fermenter

• Build a modular Tri-Clover setup on FermZilla vessels

Used with the FermZilla 2″ Butterfly Valve and Hop Bong Kit, you can fully purge the hop chamber before opening the valve — keeping oxygen out and aroma in.

Port Configuration

This lid includes the following moulded and drilled ports:

PCO1881 Male Ports (x2)

Recommended to pair with:

• 1 × Red (Gas) Ball Lock Cap

• 1 × Yellow (Liquid) Ball Lock Cap

Pressure Relief Valve Port

Supplied with:

• Red PRV rated at 35psi / 2.5 bar

Undrilled Accessory Ports

These ports are supplied undrilled for optional upgrades:

• Thermowell Port
  Suitable for 8mm Duotight × 1/4″ bulkhead thermowell kits

• Temp Twister Cooling Ports (x2)
  Designed for 9.5mm Duotight × 1/2″ bulkheads

Note: Temp Twister coils need bending to approximately 20° to match the curved lid and align correctly inside the fermenter.
