Mangrove Jack’s Recipe Range gives you a flexible new way to brew at home. Start with one of six numbered malt extract cans, then combine it with a Mangrove Jack’s Hop Blend, Brew Enhancer and Craft Series Yeast to create one of more than 40 different recipes. The formula stays the same — Can + Hop Blend + Enhancer + Craft Series Yeast = Recipe — but the beer you make is entirely up to you.

Mangrove Jack’s H10 Earthy Hop Blend combines Goldings and Fuggle hop pellets in one ready-to-use sachet, delivering classic earthy and woody hop character without the need to source and weigh multiple hop varieties.

Add it directly to the fermenter once your beer reaches the specific gravity stated in your chosen recipe. There is no need to stir; simply allow the hops a few days to infuse before bottling or kegging.

What Does H10 Earthy Add?

The combination of Goldings and Fuggle makes this blend particularly well suited to traditional ales, bitters, brown ales, porters and other malt-led beer styles.

How to Use

Add the hop pellets directly to the fermenter once the beer reaches the specific gravity stated in the relevant Mangrove Jack’s Recipe Range instructions.

There is no need to stir the hops into the beer. Leave them in contact with the beer for the period specified in the recipe, then package as normal once fermentation is complete.

Use the full sachet or the specified portion depending on the recipe you are following.

• Enhancer: E2 Medium Enhancer
• Yeast: M54 California Lager Yeast
• Makes: 20 litres
• Approximate ABV: 4.6%

The H10 Earthy Hop Blend adds classic earthy and woody character to the clean base of 1 Lager. E2 Medium Enhancer provides greater malt depth and body, while M54 California Lager Yeast produces the clean yet characterful fermentation profile suited to a California Common.
