Comments:

Allow for a diac rest at the end of fermentation for 2-3 days, taste test during this time to be sure none is left before packaging your beer.

Due to this beer using a reasonable size dry hop it will be useful to cold crash after fermentation and your diac rest has been completed.

We would also recommend you package using a method which will avoid oxygen pick up such as into keg.

This is spot on to be honest! Right down to the colour and everything!
It was my first really light colour beer so I was a bit concerned seeing as I don’t have any fancy equipment and I had heard lighter beers are more difficult to get right but it came out really nice which is very encouraging! =)

I chose this as my first all grain attempt.
Five pints into the keg now and I’m very impissed with it.
It came out at 5.25 which I considered a result!
One mistake I made was where it says to “dry hop at @ 2 days”. I thought 2 day in to fermentation but should’ve been 2 days from completion.
I love it..nice fresh fruity vibe with a pinch of bitterness- good juicy watermelon gob feel.
I’m gonna go again with a bit more on the dry hop.

This was my second whole grain brew and didn’t disappoint. I did a no sparge brew which made a banging 4 perent ipa. Again i used my grainfather s40 and had no issues at all on brew day. This is a very tasty hop forward ipa which is extremely drinkable. I actually took a bottle of this straight off my tap for my local pub land lord and co workers to try, and they agreed its as good or better than the original with less bitterness!!! He also said if i ever start a microbrewery, he will have my kegs!!!! Good shout this one boys 🍺

This is a cracking kit. My 55th all grain brew and so close to the cloned beer. Kept the corny carbonation levels down and the hop aroma was superb. First time I used the lager malt but the colour is sensational, so much lighter than I could achieve with the extra pale MO. Great Job Chaps. Just ordering another (send money if you can spare it 🙂 happy Brewing to you all!

Done this kit twice now and if I could give 6 stars I would, Its spot on in colour, aroma and taste to the original.

  6. Stuart Russell (verified owner)

Did this as my 5th All Grain brew on my Grainfather G30 and all I can say is Wow!

Very close to the real thing and tastes magnificent!

Just about to order this kit again it was so good!

Did this kit as my first ever brew with some friends.

    Would definitely recommend.

Final product was a great tasting beer.

  8. Allen Barker (verified owner)

This is fantastic! Love the flavour and bitterness is perfect. Superb! Would give this 10 stars. I actually think it is better than what it is imitating. Just about to put another order in!

  9. Justin Ormand

A phenomenally good beer. Enjoyable to brew, and delicious to drink. The hop aroma is so good, and agree it’s arguably better than the manufactured original. Will be re-brewing this in summer, as it needs to be drunk quickly.

As others have said this kit is the best I’ve brewed so far. After many attempts at producing a citrus Ipa mostly good some so so, I discovered neck oil in a pub in Scarborough at Christmas and fell in love with it. Buy all my stuff from Malt Miller and when I came across this I had to give it a go. Very impressive kit and very close to the original even better because it’s a lot cheaper. The instructions were great and introduced me to the hop whirlpool stage which I have never done before but I believe this has made all the difference. This is now my go to brew, fantastic
