Description
Now contains 150 mL of yeast slurry to enhance the brewer’s experience! Thats 50% more yeast than before.
More yeast means:
- Reduced lag phases
- Better performance in lower nutrient conditions or inadequate oxygenation
- Reduced instances of off flavors and/or stalled fermentations that result from under-pitching
- Bigger beers!
A classic German wheat strain, it’s a cloudy, big top cropper. Presenting banana and clove, the esters turn up with increased temps, wort density and decreased pitch rate, or stay muted at lower temps where clove stands out. Over-pitching can lessen the banana. Sulfur conditions out. See also Belgian Ale A (OYL-024) for an alternate complexity.
