Bought one of these with a fermenting bin on 10th April. Used it 3 times and then on the fourth the handle snapped off! Love the bin and was intending to put a bre on this afternoon and now I cant as I need to order a new tap. Will order a new one but am pretty dissapointed it has failed with almost no use.

Hi Jonathan, That is really unusual for this product. I wonder if it took a knock in transit that wasn’t immediately apparent. Don’t buy a new one, I will send you one now.

Robert – thank you, the free tap has just arrived. I had however already bought one and so now I have a spare! I dont think it was knocked in transit as it was delivered by DPD with a fermenting bin and was inside the bin, there must have just been a manufacturing fault. Very happy with your service and I love the bin. It makes a real difference to have a tap on the bottom of the bin and not have to siphon. On the basis that this was probably a one off and your kind replacement I have upped the rating – cant submit this post without a new one.

Makes brew life a million times easier.

Nicely made tap, but a 26mm hole is a better fit as the spigot is just under 26mm in diameter.
