Description
Amaze your friends and family when you share your home brewed beer, cider or cocktails in cans!
Our automatic can seamer effortlessly seams 330, 440 and 500ml cans in just a couple of seconds. Simply place the can on the bottom table and simply hit the go button, the machine will then automatically seam the can before lowering it ready for retrieval . You are then able to admire the glory of drinking and sharing your home brew, from a can!
The automatic can seamer does not spin the can, rather the head and chuck revolve forming the seam. This has the big advantage in that there is much less oxygen pick up and a smaller amount of product flick. This, combined with the easily cleaned, polycarbonate guard to further catch any product that does flick make this product the ideal choice for both amateur and professional brewers.
Set up and ready to go out of the box for CDL/ISE cans and lids. The biggest manufacturer is Crown, these are the cans that are stocked by The Malt Miller.
The heavy duty, powder coated steel chassis houses the electronics and mechanics of the seamer. The exterior is black powder coated steel for durability and allows the machine to be wiped down after use. Neat, blue LED’s within the seaming head light the whole process giving a quality feel. The sleek LED screen houses the green “GO” and red “STOP” button and also has a handy counter function enabling the user to know exactly how many cans have been seamed.
Can seaming at home has been a long standing project here at The Malt Miller. Other machines have and are available at either a much higher price point or require some set up by the user. Our Automatic Can Seamer is ready to use out of the box, each unit is tested by our staff and the seamed test can is within the packaging.
Three tough, white plastic spacers are used for the different size cans. The smallest spacer is for 500ml cans and is also used in conjunction with the largest to seam 330ml cans. The middle size spacer is used solely for 440ml cans.

What a cracking bit of kit. I don’t have anything to compare this too as it’s the first can seamer I’ve used. It worked straight from the box, no set up or adjustments needed. I’ve just canned 2 dozen beers all tested with no leaks. Cycle time is about 3 seconds and as the can doesn’t spin you get minimal spray. Quality looks very good, with all the head seaming components nicely machined. All in all, 5 stars from me.

A great piece of kit and it worked straight out of the box! It is quite large and heavy (in a reassuring way!), so make sure you have somewhere convenient to put it. There were no adjustments required – just plugged it in and pressed the “green” button!
I dithered about buying one for a while – largely due to the cost, but eventually decided to take the plunge. Boy, it was worth it! One of my pet hates is cleaning, sanitising and filling bottles. The main reason for bottling was to give it away and bottling just became too much of a pain! Canning fixes a lot of those problems, plus there are no empties to be returned!
I am using the Tapcooler Nanocanner to fill the cans as I already had the Tapcooler bottle filler. I just need to acquire some extra bits. Once set up, I am able to can a 19L keg in under an hour. I like the fact that I can produce a mixture of 300ml and 440ml cans. It took me a few attempts to get it right first time, every time. But it was easily mastered. A nice bit of kit and well worth the investment. Once the cans have a label on them, they look the business!

Firstly, so great that Malt Miller have got these back in stock. No regrets in making the purchase. It’s so easy to use and little to no mess as the seamer moves and not the can. I can get through a 10l batch in no time at all.
Delivery was prompt and well package and set up in minutes before canning my first brew. Looks great too!
Love the subtle addition of a counter on the display and the flexibility for accommodation of different can sizes.

Wow! Life changer if your currently counter-pressure filling bottles. I’m using the Duofiller twin can filler. By the time one can is filled and seamed the second can is filled ready for seaming, so I’m constantly filling and seaming with no standing time. I must be emptying a full corny keg to around 50+ cans in under 20mins now. Can’t recommend this enough, and to be fair it’s a great price for what you get, solid equipment well made and the team at Malt Miller are always really helpful if you need them. Go for it, you won’t look back!
