The key ingredient is the Bells house yeast strain, and the use of not additional spices or fruit, this allows the 4 ingredients to shine just like the sun itself.

Comments:
Cure the winter blues by capturing a little sunshine in a bottle for yourself! Oberon is an American wheat ale fermented with their house ale yeast, mixing a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas. The addition of wheat malt lends a smooth mouthfeel, making it a classic summer beer.
Serve with a slice of orange to capture the true taste of this Bells classic beer.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Superb flavour. Not too overpowering which some wheat beers can be for my tastes. Unfortunately my wife likes it too which means putting in more orders.

Fantastic recipe! Liquid summer and very refreshing, head like icecream. Will brew again.

My first attempt at a wheat beer. As other have said, it’s not as full on wheat as Euro wheat beers.
I’m impressed and my friends are very impressed – it has a great taste and mouthfeel.

Wasn’t a great fan of this one. It was my first American style wheat beer and perhaps the style is just not for me, but it lacked the aroma I associate with wheat beers and tasted a bit like ‘plain beer’. I managed to rescue it by pouring some grapefruit juice into the keg (be careful if you do this – you need to keep it very cold and monitor for any re-fermentation) which resulted in a pretty tasty brew.
