Each kit contains all the ingredients required, crushed malt, hops, style specific yeast and priming sugar. Plus, kettle finings, yeast nutrient and where applicable vegan finings. Full instructions for brewing beer from grain as well as a recipe specific brew sheet.
Gravity Well – Eclipse & Galaxy Hazy Pale Ale
A modern hazy pale ale recipe designed for home brewing, showcasing the vibrant Australian hop pairing of Eclipse and Galaxy. Built on a foundation of low-colour Maris Otter, supported by wheat malt, flaked oats and Golden Naked Oats, this home brew delivers a soft, pillowy mouthfeel with lasting haze and exceptional drinkability.
A large whirlpool addition provides smooth bitterness and saturated hop flavour, while a two-stage dry hop layers bright mandarin, passionfruit and ripe peach throughout the beer. Fermented with WHC Haze Heaven yeast, the result is a juicy, full-flavoured hazy pale ale that drinks far bigger than its 4.5% ABV suggests, while remaining incredibly approachable and sessionable.

Hop / kettle additions and timing:
ProMix @ 5 mins before the end of the boil
Whirlpool – Chill to 80°C, add hops and whirlpool for 60 minutes

Yeast: WHC Haze Heaven x 1 11g Packet
Fermentation temperature/steps:
Ferment at 18°C for 7-10 days. Add the first dry hop charge during active fermentation:

Once fermentation is complete, add the second dry hop charge and hold for 48 hours:

Add BrauSol and cold crash to 4°C for up to 72 hours before packaging.
