Description

Everything you love about the classic Two Hearted Ale – now in a double IPA. With two and a half times the amount of Centennial hops, Double Two Hearted has intense pine and citrus notes, a resinous hop aroma, and rich malt character. Its certainly not one to drink by the pint with its whopping 11.5% abv, its warming and hoppy, heading very close to barley wine territory.

This is a big beer that when we brewed it pushed the Grainfather to it limits with the malt bill, and almost overloaded the conical with the volume of hops to keep dumping out.

Yeast: Midwestern (Bells House Yeast)
Fermentation temperature/steps: 18c for 4 days, 20c for 7 days until FG

Bells have a special release of a double IPA. This is our version of it based on our Two Hearted clone.
