    Just started drinking this.
    Was sat since October
And to be honest. It’s better than what you buy in a bottle!! Have had several mates give me the rating of 5 stars
I guess the key is to leave it. Let it mature!

  7. Philip Cross (verified owner)

I see John may have had a few of thse when he posted his review…LOL and who could blame him. This is a great consistent kit and have tried this through and hand pump which makes a fab kit even better. the boy taylor is also good but this is slightly better. This was one of the first kits I ever made as TT was a personal favorite and it didn’t disappoint. still make regular and enjoy every time

what a nice drink, 1 that i will be brewing on a regular basis,
will try the boy taylor next to compare what the difference in yeast is .
if you havent tried this try it, highly recommend

this is probably one of the best I’ve made in 30 odd brews. It got a lot of really positive feedback from mates. will definitely be doing this again. It’s got that crispness that the original has, and the malt/hop balance is spot on.

I first made this with the Malt Miller Brew School and it was a very good recipe kit that got me into brewing.
So, i thought i would revisit and its hard to believe how much better this Premium Version is, my new go to session brew.

Great brew. Done a few times and always a welcomed by family and friends.
From memory its bang on Landlord. The yeast really makes this a typical Taylors type drink. I wouldn’t use any other type of yeast for this brew.
I should do a back-to-back test alongside a Taylors Landlord on cask and see actually how close it is. Note, landlord on cask is about 4.3% ABV so this one is slightly higher if the OG and FG are achieved.

I have always loved this ale and this was my first brew with new equipment. I just couldn’t believe how good it is , many thanks MM

  13. brickhousebrewingco (verified owner)

Superb beer. Used RO water and created a soft profile to try to match the original. Corny keg with a low PSI makes it taste like it’s come from a cask. This beer has made me fall in love with English ales again. Thanks MM!

  14. Martin Hudson (verified owner)

Shared this with a few friends and they were very complimentary saying that it was a match for the original and shame there was not more to go around!
