Source: A blend of our Sour Weapon bacteria and Kveik.
First time release from Bootleg Biology!
S.W. Ultra began as an idea in a Reddit thread and led us to combining one of our favorite kveik isolates with all the Bootleg house bacteria for a quick-souring fruity blast of a culture!
This blend features Moden, an isolate from a Skare culture, plus our award-winning bacteria from Sour Weapons L and P. This blend will quickly lower your pH and ferment your beer when unhopped.
For best results, do no add any hops during brewing. The bacteria are extremely sensitive to any IBUs. Ferment at high temperatures for faster fermentation, and when terminal gravity is reached, add dry hops to stop the acidification. Then package!
